Will the VE156 transmit VGA signals over a single Cat 5 cable?
 
Solution : 
Yes, because either the transmitter or receiver may supply
power to both units, the second cable only supplies power
to the “other” unit.

So you may use either 1 Cat5 cable and 2 power adapters
or 2 Cat5 cables and one power supply
