1. CN8600 microphone of the remote side and the local side, only one can work at the same time. Select the console lock switch. Use this switch to lock the console so that remote access is disabled (view only) and only the local console can operate the CN8600. Therefore, the remote microphone signal cannot pass to local CPU/PC. The microphone of local console will work.

2. When set to unlock, the CN8600 grants access depending on the configuration stored. The remote microphone signal will be able to  pass to local CPU/PC. The microphone of local console will not work.
