Subject :
CS1762 DVI-A Support?

Description :
I have a Samsung monitor with DVI Input, a PC with DVI Output and a notebook with a VGA Output.
The PC runs very well, but with the notebook, I get no signal on the monitor.
I use a normal VGA cable with a VGA-To-DVI adapter from my notebook to the KVM Switch.
What can I do to get my notebook running ?

Solution :
If your monitor only supports DVI-D signal, please try to find a converter to convert the VGA signal to be the DVI-D signal for your notebook. Then, the monitor will display for your notebook.
However, almost all the DVI monitors support DVI-D and DVI-A signal, so please check the spec. of your monitor again. If your monitor supports both DVI-D and DVI-I signals, you just need a DVI <-> VGA adapter (or cable as same as your description) which could be found at some electronic shops.
