	channel not responding

Description :
	The KVM switch is connected to 5 servers and to Aten CN 6000. both the CN 6000 and CS9138 were reset because both keyboard and mouse stopped responding. The reset helped for 4 servers only the Novell still does not respond to keystrokes. The channel indicator light however is blinking rapidly. The manual states that "that port is being used for cascading". There is no second nor third tier. How can I get the channel back to work and that blinking off without having to shutdown all the servers?

Solution :
	First at all, please make sure that all the connectors of cable are connected to the correct position! Then, turn off the Novell server, disconnect the cable from CS9138 for 10 seconds, and then connect the cable to CS9138. Finally, turn on the Novell server.
