EDID not detected |

My Dell Latitude EA5540 with an Intel HD4400 does not detect the monitor’s EDID via CS82U, How do I correct the problem? |

This is a compatibility issue between CS82U and the notebook Dell Latitude EA5540. We recommend using a CS62U or the workaround below to force the screen resolution:
1. Open the custom resolution software (see picture 1)
2. Set the resolution (see picture 2 & 3), there are 2 ways: basic & advanced
A- Basic: you can only set width, height and refresh rate, however 60 Hz doesn't work for higher resolutions (Intel Bug?) but if you set the refresh rate to 56 Hz or lower it works correctly
B- Advanced: you are offered more parameters than Basic settings. For LCD screens you can set 1080p @ 60 Hz.
3. Reboot the computer so the new resolution is listed as an option.
4. Open the Windows display properties window and choose the custom resolution
