CS1732B - Firmware Upgrade Error Code '4108'
Description :
We have followed the product manual guidance to upgrade the KVM switch firmware. An error code '4108' is shown up when we run the firmware upgrade utility. Why?
Solution :
"Error Code '4108' means ""No device found on serial port"".
Condition: No device answers the enumerate command after the application has tried every possible serial port.
Solution:
1). Check that the device's cables are properly connected and aren't damaged.
2). Check that the device is up and running normally.
3). Don't forget to invoke KVM switch into upgrade mode. (OSD --> [F4] --> FIRMWARE UPGRADE)"
