CS1798 + VC985 compatibility
 
Description : 
I have a project which will need a DP to HDMI adapter to convert the signal.
The connection is like below:
PC--->DP to HDMI adapter--->HDMI cable 3 meter--->CS1798--->monitor
Is VC985 compatible?
 
Solution : 
VC985 isn't an active adapter.  To improve the compatibility, VC986 will be the adapter for you project.
